DMB to Help Stop Global Warming

Apparently it's not just ice cream that should stay cold. The Dave Matthews Band, Sen. James Jeffords of Vermont, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield (of Ben & Jerry's) and Howard Ris, President of Union of Concerned Scientists are holding a press conference in Washington, D.C. on April 2nd to discuss OneSweetWhirled.org, a campaign site against global warming. Not only is this another indication of the band's increased involvement in helping charities and non-profit organizations, but it also can give the die-hard fans some hope that they might run into band members in D.C. a day or two before the opening of the tour at Washington's MCI Center on April 4th. Update: Please note that this is not a public event, so please don't contact the organization asking to attend. Rest assured that we'll bring you full coverage, as always.
