WTWE Remixed for Matrix Reload

The LA Times, in a recent article, reported that Dave Matthews Band commissioned a remix of "When the World Ends" by Paul Oakenfold in mid-2001, and that song will be released on the soundtrack of "The Matrix Reloaded" at the beginning of May. The song was originally to be released in September of 2001, but the single was yanked after September 11th due to its apocalyptic theme. British DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold is a legend in dance music circles, having shepherded in the acid house scene in the 80s, partnered with U2 for over a decade, and worked with groups like Madonna, Massive Attack, Snoop Dogg, and Arrested Development.
