DMB Prohibits IEMs

Dave Matthews Band has finally addressed the issue of recording concerts via In-Ear Monitors (IEMs.) Their long-standing taping policy has been altered, adding the following clause: "Taping is limited to audio-only, using only microphones. Wireless receivers are strictly prohibited." Following last month's reports of crackdowns on people recording via IEM (see our July 6th story, "IEM Recordings Halted"), it was inevitable that DMB would update their taping policy to notify tapers that recording IEM broadcasts is against their wishes.
