Reynolds Releases "Id"

By Waldo Jaquith
There are two things to keep in mind about Tim Reynolds: #1, he's a crazy man; #2, the surprises never end. Along these lines, he has released, under the pseudonym of "No One," a double-disc set named "Id." Well, it would be double-disc if it were on discs. But it's only available on-line, and it's free. Reynolds recorded it live, with "no production, unplanned, unmanned, mindless, headless." "Basically," Reynolds explains on his site, "it's wank wank wank." Anybody expecting a "Live at Luther College" sound will end up sorely disappointed. All audio is available as MP3s and SHNs, and art is available as JPEGs, PSDs and PDFs.
