Stuffing TRL's Ballot Box

Salon.com has an article about a record company coordinating the stuffing of Total Request Live's ballot boxes, using the volunteer labor of fans to do so. Interscope Records promised that whoever voted for relative musical unknowns "Puddle of Mudd" the most times would be flown out to LA to meet Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst. This stands in sharp contrast to Guster's "Bug Carson Daly" day, when they found out that Total Request Live isn't always live: the show is pre-taped on some days, rendering votes irrelevant.
