The End of AGR, the End of an Era

After a six-year run, Agents of Good Roots is coming to an end; their final show will be on New Year's Eve. The Richmond, Virginia jam band was one of the younger siblings of the musical generation that included, among others, Widespread Panic, Blues Traveller, Phish, Aquarium Rescue Unit, and, of course, Dave Matthews Band. Among the witnesses to the band's possibility-laden career was our own Brian Pace, who has taken this opportunity to recall the rise and fall of AGR in "Like a Cuckoo's Coo."
