Poop Shoot Reviews B.S.

Kevin Smith's unfortunately-titled Movie Poop Shoot has a spot-on review of Busted Stuff, by writer Tom Stroh. He writes that seeing DMB "is like watching a group of old jazz pros far above and beyond the standard fare that crowds the airwaves," and says of Busted Stuff that "never before have they captured their finer points as concisely in the studio as on their latest offering." But Stroh isn't glowingly positive; he's not fond of "Where Are You Going" ("a conciliatory offering to the A&R reps at Bertellsmann"), and admits that those that dislike Dave Matthews Band may find little to convince them otherwise on this latest album. "Overall," he concludes, "it's a solid album that should not be overlooked as one of 2002's best releases."
