DMB Wins VH1 Award

Dave Matthews Band has won VH1's "Big in 2002" award for "Taking It to The Stage," which translates to "Best Live Show." They were up against Aerosmith, Creed, John Mayer, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen. Voting for this particular award was done on-line, not selected by judges. The Big in 2002 entertainment awards are VH1's effort to salvage their poorly-reviewed Music Awards, previously held in 2000 and 2001. The event was held on December 4th, but was not broadcast until Sunday evening.
