DMB #3 Top-Earning Act of 2002

According to a report to be published in Rolling Stone, Dave Matthews Band was the #3 top-earning band of 2002, right behind Paul McCartney ($72MM) and The Rolling Stones ($44MM), with $31.3MM in income. That's a decline from $43.4MM in 2001, but an increase from #4 to #3 in position. It's notable that Dave Matthews Band made very little from album sales, taking in nearly all of that money from touring. Our thanks to Matt Casey for the tip.
