Eight Injured at Alpine Shows

Eight people who were injured after being struck by lightning at the Sunday Alpine concert have all been released from the hospital. The group was standing in about six inches of water in the Wisconsin parking lot prior to the show when one man was struck while holding a metal pole during the storm. The current passed through him to the others in the group via the water, knocking him unconscious. The incident received national media coverage, and the concert went on without delay.
