Central Park Concert Announced

There have been whisperings and rumblings for weeks, but it's now for certain: Dave Matthews Band will be performing a free show in Manhattan's Central Park on September 24th. Simon and Garfunkel's legendary 1981 performance in Central Park has made the park performance a near-sacred rite for many musicians. Hundreds of thousands of people are likely to attend the DMB concert at Great Lawn later on this month. The concert will benefit Charlottesville's Music Resource Center and New York City's Fund for Public Schools. Details are now available on DMB's website.
