Media Ownership Petition

On Dave Matthews Band's official site, they are urging their fans to sign a petition to roll back the Federal Communication Commissions' new media ownership rules. Earlier this year, the FCC lifted the limits on media ownership, such that a single company like Clear Channel is now able to dominate the market without challenge. While big media companies are very happy with this change in rules, consumers are rightly angry. The rise of conglomerates has and will continue to stultify journalism and provide very narrow musical choice. To oppose the new media ownership rules, please sign the petition, which will be delivered to Congress to persuade them to overturn the FCC's decision.
