Extra-Venue Merch Sales
By Waldo JaquithAddressing a common lament of concert-goers, DMB announced to Warehouse fan club members via e-mail today that this summer they will have merchandise booths outside of the venue before each show. The idea is that the purchase of a pair of t-shirts and a poster does not necessitate lugging around and guarding said pair of t-shirts and poster for the rest of the evening. (Presumably, it will also tempt tailgaters to make purchases that they might not make otherwise.) Not all merchandise will be available, and it'll be cash-only at most venues. Greetings from the Warehouse:
On the Dave Matthews Band tour this summer, a merchandise booth will be available outside the venue prior to the show. For the fans that don't want to carry their merch to their seats, cash-only purchases (credit card sales may be offered at some venues) can easily be made outside of the venue, allowing fans to stash their DMB merch in their vehicles prior to the show. We will offer most of the merchandise you'd find inside the venue. As our way of saying thanks, Warehouse members will receive a special bonus item with purchase. Warehouse members must present this e-coupon to be eligible for the special bonus.
