New Live CD Announced: Worcester
By

In a promotional e-mail, MusicToday (the merchandising arm of the band's business ventures) has
announced the first CD in their new Phish-styled
live concert series: the
December 8, 1998 Worcester, Massachusetts show. Tim Reynolds performed with the band for the whole of the show, with Butch Taylor playing keyboard on many of the songs and Bela Fleck and Jeff Coffin contributing to a few songs, most notably a #41 that went past the 20-minute mark. This should come as no surprise to purchasers of the Gorge boxed set, who found mention of the impending release in promotional materials bundled with the discs. Making use of their new digital downloads service, the album will be available both physically and digitally, as MP3s and FLACs. A November 2 release date is slated. Thanks to Ed Argenta for the tip.
