On Rolling Stone's website today, they ran a brief story about what the band is up to in the studio, and it sounds like, in a word, plenty. A May release is named, along with a pair of songs: "Dream Girl" and "Wake Up." Also mentioned is a DMB performance at the New Orleans Jazz Fest in April and the inevitable tour this summer. Perhaps most notable is bassist Stefan Lessard's description of the "two albums" worth of music as "good dancing music," going so far as to say that they'll "have more hits going straight to the clubs." It's not clear whether Stefan is being serious or merely facetious, but nancies.org advises people to stay calm and not do anything that they'll regret. Thanks to Jonathan Haidsiak for the tip.
