DMB to Settle Dumping Suit

Dave Matthews Band and the Illinois attorney general have come to an agreement to settle the office's lawsuit against the band over last summer's Chicago dumping incident. Bus driver Stefan Wohl pleaded guilty to the dumping last month, apparently having acted recklessly individually, without knowledge or direction from DMB. Once that guilty plea was entered, it made a settlement between the band and the Illinois AG inevitable. The specific terms of the settlement agreement will be presented in court on April 29. There's still the matter of the series of civil suits filed against the band, which are likely to be resolved in a similar manner. The Chicago Sun-Times has the story. Thanks to Mike for the tip.
