Band Joining "Midterms Matter" Tour

Non-partisan voter registration group HeadCount has organized the "Midterms Matter Tour," which is not actually a tour in the sense of MoveOn.org's Vote for Change tour, but rather HeadCount showing up at concerts and festivals around the nation, including Bonnaroo and Randall's Island. The purpose of the event is to register voters and raise awareness of the importance of voting in U.S. Senate and U.S. House elections this November. HeadCount enjoys the benefit of endorsements by bands including DMB, Trey Anastasio, and O.A.R., among others. Clover Hope has the story in Billboard.
