DMB Playing Giants Stadium for Live Earth

DMB will be performing at one of the Live Earth concerts, organizers announced today. Modeled after the 1985 Live Aid concerts (and, more recently, the 2005 Live 8 concerts), there will be 24 hours of live music performances held on all seven continents, even Antarctica, on July 7. The event is intended as an international call to action to combat man-made global climate change. The U.S. show will be at Giants Stadium, and will also feature Sheryl Crow, The Police, Smashing Pumpkins and Ludacris (complete with rumors of a Ludacris / DMB joint performance). Given that the goal is to have two billion people watch or listen -- one third of the human population -- odds are good you'll be able to tune in on NBC or via webcast. Thanks to Erin for the tip.
