In a disappointing first week showing, Boyd Tinsley's solo album True Reflections (see our recent review) sold just 10,500 copies, barely making it onto the Billboard charts at #97. The album has received few reviews thus far, with the small number written not having been particularly favorable. In a stinging Tuesday ChartAttack review, True Reflections was derided as "a classic example of someone getting a shot at a solo record simply because theyre attached to a famous band," and "an unremarkable piece of work," concluding that "this whole album is boring." Short of a stepped-up promotions effort on the part of RCA or a fan-driven movement to support this album, the high point of popularity for True Reflections may have already come and gone.
