Tinsley Summer Solo Tour

An anonymous source at a major record retailer has tipped us off to the news that the long-planned Boyd Tinsley solo tour is finally happening this summer. The nationwide "Boyd Tinsley and Friends" tour will support his recent solo release, True Reflections. No word when tickets go on sale, but presumably an announcement is due within days. Keep reading for images of the two-sided in-store promotional poster. 12:00pm Update: Several people have pointed out that the dates listed on the poster conflict heavily with DMB's summer tour dates. We trust the source from whom we got the poster artwork, and so we are working to get some sort of explanation. In the meantime, antsmarching.org reports that the official site actually posted a story about this earlier, but removed it. 12:32pm Update: Thanks to Jeff Miller, who pointed out that Boyd is now listed as being available to be booked for shows by Clear Channel's College Entertainment division, and to BJ, for pointing out Boyd's "immediate" need for a personal assistant earlier this month, which is odd, given that band management has long provided him somebody to fill that role.
