The show lasted about 2 1/2 hours, Dave really tried to get a relaxed mood going and for the most part it worked. He used the Nueticals story and the Tree with the Ants who ate everything (plug for Greenpeace). I really don't think the crowd for the most part knew what they were coming to see. I had just come into the Theater when some guy behind me yells out "Is Dave just playing by himself, where is the rest of the bands gear!". I turned around and explained about the tour and told him who Tim was. Then when the show started this Younger Blond Girl behind my wife and I starts yelling (I love you Dave, WWWWHHHOOOOO, Where are You From!) at the last comment I had to turn around and yell "South Africa, Loud Girl, now just let him play!). So besides a loud crowd, the show was very good. I had never heard Tim by himself until last night...the Man is AMAZING...his solo was one of the highlights of the show for me. Two songs really stood out...#41 and The Maker, you could really tell the love what they do. Also Granny(my fav) and I'll Back you up were amazing. In closing it was a great night and I hope to see Dave and Tim again soon. To all you going to the New Orleans show have a great time!! One last funny note: There was this guy there how brought along one of those handheld lasers for pointing. He was flashing it all around, then he was flashing it on Daves face (what this moron was trying to do I don't know). Dave finished the song then told the guy "turn that shit off before I come out there and beat your ass with it". The whole place bursts into laughter. He had been dogging loud people all night!
