Another great show! First off, Carter and Roi came out and jammed with Los Lobos for their last song... smoothness. BOWA was a great opener. Dave acknowledged a fan's sign, and then played Song That Jane Likes (a first for me, live). Right before Dave went into Recently, he took time out to fully insult a "big stupid man" who was pushing people front and center. Recently was started, and we got the "Some people" jam... so sweet. Then, Granny! I was so honored to have heard this song, especially with Roi jamming with Dave, Stefan, and Carter... only my second time to hear it live. Then came #41... again, one of my favorites. Into Say Goodbye... with the most awesome and elongated drum intro I have eer heard. Jimi Thing was as hot as ever. Two Step featured Stefan on the slide-bass again... a great addition to the song. Billies was the same as was heard two nights before at Shoreline. Lie in Our Graves was great, but Dave's guitar was out of tune... his high e string was sharp, and that got a little annoying, but the song was good. Then.... WAREHOUSE! This was a first for me to see live, and man is it hot! The stop time intro builds tension, and the light show was awesome. This was the first song that the lights were turned on for. Then came Crash Into Me... the same as last time. The crowd went crazy as usual... because this is the only song that most of them know... SMTS was hot again... the song is smooth, as is the transition to Too Much via Anyone seen the bridge... that gets me moving... it's cool watching Stefan hurry to switch basses between the songs... The boys left the stage, and the crowded wanted them back. Then came the encore... The new song (is it Weight of the World? The official site says it's not titled...I've heard it referred to as LMP, and other things... WHAT IS IT?) rocks...with the powerful intro... Carter pounding the drums and Stefan hitting his bass... very moving... and of course, then came Ants. Smooth... Boyd did his strut across the stage with his eyes closed... he was into it. I don't like hearing this song live, though, only because it means the show's over...
