Nice quiet crowd, small venue. Introduction of "Python story". Synapsis is Dave sees a big snake, wants to take a picture of it, girlfriend says no. It is so big it appears to move in both directions. DDTW intro may possibly be new, too (has refrains of "the one you gave Jesus after 3 days" and "come down on your knees and pray"). First mention of Dave's "step-mother", who he compares to "a cow w/ a horses' ass". Dave also speaks on Teletubby controversy. Good abundance of Davespeak, three hour set is a good mix of old and new material. Halloween was nice (w/ dirty lyrics). Stay seemed forced; Tim and Dave can't really hold it together b/c of lack of Carter and Stephan's bass-line. You can really tell Tim doesn't want to bass-line, but rather solo of Dave tonight. Tim had a great solo in Nancies. Tim has gotten much more dependent on electronic effects and distortion this tour (compared to previous D&T's). This show will be a keeper. Good sound, respectful crowd, mixed set, an d good Davespeak. Get it.

OK, i'll keep this simple and just give the highlights, mostly Dave Speak. Some guys screams out "BEER" and so Dave goes, "congratulations on getting into college." Then Dave goes, "sometimes i feel like a muppet." Then Dave started to talk about how Jesus was groovy. Then someone screamed some rambled crap that sounded to Dave like "vacancy pythons" so Dave told a story of the time he saw the biggest python while driving with his girlfriend and two others. One of the most interesting screams that came from the audience was for Dave to play the song Heathcliff's Haiku Warriors. Dave had no clue what she was talking about and replied, "shit, i don't know what you're talking about." Dave talked about pot for a while and how it was INNNNSAAAAAYYYYYNNNEEE for anyone to go to jail for REFER. After singing Say Goodbye Dave starts to describe the song and says that sometimes fucking your friend seems good at the time but it's a bad idea when you think about it after. He then comments that he should make a second song after Say Goodbye called "Aww Shit, I Wish I Didn't." Lastly, Dave speaks about how some priest thinks teletubbies are satanic and how they promote homosexuality. Besides the Dave Speak, the show was great. A good mix of songs and a good crowd made it a great show. The crowd was not overly annoying and Dave really seemed to like the venue and the guests a lot. Him and Tim had a great time joking around with each other and it really was a great night. Great Dave Speak, great playing and a fun crowd. What else can you ask for?
