Oh my Freegin God! How Grrrrreat was tonights show? Non Stop Energy from Start to finish. From the opening notes of Seek up all the way to Ants, tonights show had something for everybody, and it was non stop fun the whole time. Being this tour, i did not know what to expect, but what i got was a non stop show from start to finish. Seek up, Jane, Watchtower, #41 with a killer new outro, We got the bridge from SMTS--> Too much, Awesome!! True Refelections!! Even Crash and Satellite had a nice spark tonight. Now the encore--> holy shit! i couldnt belive i heard blue water, i was in awe, then christmas song was as beautifull as i expected. Then the classic Killer closer with Ants. Every song was just incredible! My foot couldnt stop tapping the whole time. I had a great time with my wonderfull girlfriend/best friend beth, and she even thought it was better than "good". But this show had something for everyone and it was a killer way to top my 2000 dmb run. Of the 8 shows i have been to, i rank this as the 2nd best dmb show i have ever been to and the 2nd best of 2000 (next to Giants stadium 7/13/00) It was incredible folks! A+++ See yall next year...

Tonight was a great way to end their tour this year. Something for everybody. I won't go into great detail cause I'm piss tired but i'll see how far I can go. Seek Up was an excellent opener because the boys did their jammin thing without dragging the song into the next morning which they have been known to do before with seek up. WWYS had dave and everybody getting down. JTR has the best outro of all the new songs I heard this year. DDTW was a pleasant suprise. I love this song! Satelitte was Satellite. STJL was GREAT!! that was the first time I've gotten to hear it in the 7 times i've seen them so i juiced up. R&R keeps climbing up my favorite live song list with all those kick ass lights and dave screaming. True Reflection was nice to hear WITHOUT the lovely ladies. after hearing that song, i realized how overrated. great voices but they overdo the songs like true. #41 is always great to hear. Dave did a little extra singing at the end with the refrain "everyday". maybe a snipet to the upcoming album?? Crash was the suprise of the night because of how much the crowd truely got into this. i have heard this many a time, but i never heard such true enjoyment during the dixie chicken outro. the HIGHLIGHT of the ight came with Watchtower. BEST alltime version. the lights, the band, the crowd, the glowing light things flying in the air, all i have to say about that song: Bad Ass. Grey Street got a big applause and keeps getting better with every time hear it. SMTS-->ASTB-->Too Much was a nice closer. LeRoi Had a little extra jam during ASTB. Christmas song was expected but beautiful. I know Dave said it wasn't a religious song, but you don't write a song like that without some religious feeling behind it. anywho, Ants was the Perfect end to a excelent night. I really don't think i can wait any longer for this damn album but tonight will hold me over till then. Everyone have a great holiday! Don't forget the Reason for the Season.

I have seen better shows but starting off with Seek Up was something that was not expected, especially since he has been playing it rather spareingly as of late. What really got me thinking was the little outro of "Everyday" repeated over and over after #41, something that he did not do at either the Albany show or the first MSG show, according to my friend that went to all three shows. Then putting Watchtower in the middle of the set I thought was genius. Nobody expected it there. Anyone Seen the Bridge had a little extra jump to it I thought. Then Christmas song, something I have never heard in Concert before was just amaizing for the first encore. Ants Marching to close the show gave it sort of an old school Remember Two Things atmosphere that ran thoughout the show, I just wish he would have played Minarets. All in all probabally in the top five or ten of shows I have seen.

This show was really fantastic. The boys were incredibly energetic tonight. Even LeRoi was dancing a bit. Dave was playing with such enthusiasm that he broke strings after nearly every song. This concert was the polar opposite from Tuesday's rather disappointing show at MSG. Like always, Seek Up was a stellar opener. Recently, WWYS has been played at a slower tempo, seeming like it was a chore to play. But not tonight. They rocked that song out. Boyd and Roi were going nuts. JTR was a nice song, and even DDTW was good tonight. I used to despise the song, but tonight it seemed to fit in. After talking with the other guys, Dave went up to his mic and started to play a few notes. I knew that Satellite was coming. But then Dave did a new solo intro. It was as if he was playing with the audience. He was trying to fake us out. It sounded like he was going to go into a new song, but then he went on into Sat. He seemed like he was having so much fun with that. STJL was wonderful. I'm really glad that they brought this one back. I was very pleased with True Reflections. Stefan was really funkin' it up. It sounds so much better without the back-up singers. Much less like a gospel tune and more like a funk one. 41 was great as always, although I was hoping that they would get Victor Wooten to guest, because he was in NYC last night. Then they did a lovely crash. After that, I saw Stefan go for his effect pads, and I knew that Watchtower was coming. He had an incredible intro, which set the tone for the song. This was one of the night's highlights. Dare I say that it was even better than when Warren Hayes guested? Anyway, when that ended, I figured that the set was over, and I was kind of disappointed that it was so short, but then Dave pulled out the 12-string and did a great Grey Street. It's a shame that this song isn't going to be on the album, because it is really great. Once they had finished GS, and I realized that they were not ready to leave, I was praying for either Cortez or Exodus. We didn't get either of those, but we were treated to a nice version of SMTS. I was really happy with Anyone Seen the Bridge? Tonight. There was a decent bass solo in there that made me quite happy. Anyway, after Too much, they went off stage. A few minutes later, Dave and Carter came back on, and I was expecting the Christmas Song. Blue Water Came as a complete shock. This song is wonderfully dark. I loved it. About half way into Blue Water, Dave stopped and said something like “This isn’t a religious song now.” Christmas Song was nice, but the All you need is love, Can’t buy me love lines are a bit cheesy. When Dave and Carter finished, I was hoping that the rest of the boys would stay off-stage, so that they could play Halloween. I wasn’t that lucky. However, I was treated to an incredible Ants. This was really a great way for them to end the tour. I can’t wait for the “Everyday” and for the next tour.

Ok well, to start off. It was a great show. Pretty basic, nothing amazing to rave about but it was a great show. Despite Dave being a bit under the weather, the band played a strong set. The crowd was pretty good for a Philly crowd. I had the privelage of being right now on top of the action next to soundboard. That was a cool experience to say the least. Lots of tapers at this show so their will defintely be a good pull in the coming weeks. Now onto the show. The first few songs were pretty strong. I have seen Don't Drink The Water at most of the shows I have been to the past few years and tonights was by far the best I have witnessed. Heading on down the setlist to #41. It was another great winter tour version with that killer outro "Everyday". The crowd seemed to like this and got really involved with it. Moving on to watchtower. WOW I dont know if it was DMB's performance or if it was the crowd but let me just say this rocked. I felt like I was at a Phish concert. Everyone started throwing their glowsticks around on the floor. It was something that would be nice if it became a every show routine for watchtower because I could tell the band got some energy off this also. Crash.... Crash is Crash.. If you wanna know what it sounded like go get the album. SMTS---> Anyone Seen The Bridge?----> Too Much was powerful and fun as it always is. The crowd seemed to have more energy at this show with this blend then any other time I have seen this combo and this was the 5th time I've seen this combo. Now to the encores. Blue water tease. For some reason it didnt seem the same as Penn State last week. I don't know. Something about the people who didn't know it... Or even didn't wanna know it. To all those people who enjoyed it. Right on! Christmas Song... Two Words... Every Show! But oh well I like the song so it was worth listening to again. Now we have Ants. I don't really know how to talk about Ants because half of me is saying that i hear it every show and it gets boring. But tonight there was just some vibe. Like as if everyone knew it was the last song of this short tour and wanted to have lots of fun with it. It suprised me alittle with how fun it was to hear it. Now looking back I think not a bad show. Very enjoyable... Even though it seemed to be a bit to similar to the PSU show. I was hoping for the Last Stop. I thought we would get it when after Seek Up Dave came up to the mic and said something like "This is our LAST STOP of this short tour" I thought for sure that was a sign but oh well. Maybe next tour. I had a great time this summer tour, winter tour and kinda felt good about how this year of DMB ended for me. It stuck to the usual (as usual) and went out with a bang! Now I cant wait until Feb! EVERYDAY!!! Looks like 2001 will have a great year to match up with but we can only wait and see! Thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone .... Erik

This was my second DMB concert and let me tell you, they went out with a bang. What an awesome setlist. This was a lot better than the one at Hershey in the summer of 2000. Seek Up was a good but mellow opener. WWYS was kickin' and had everyone dancing and singing. JTR was great and the ending jam was all Boyd. DDTW was standard but great to hear. Song That Jane Likes was a great song but very short. Satellite seemed to jam a little bit more tonight. That, too, had everyone singing. True Reflections was definitely a highlight of the set. Boyd's voice was terrific. Rhyme and Reason jammed, but a very standard version. #41 was the second best song of the set. The Everyday ending is terrific. I have never heard this song jam this much before. Crash was next and very standard, complete with dixie chicken. Watchtower, the best song of the set, was truly amazing. The ending jam to this was like no other version I have heard before. I thought that this was the end of the set but it was not. It went into my favorite song off of the new album - Grey Street. This version was just like the one at Hershey, but I think that the lyrics changed a little bit…..great anyway. A SMTS>ASTB>Too Much jam ended the set. This was truly mind-blowing. Dave waited about 5 minutes before coming back out for the encore. We received Christmas Song, but without Can't Buy Me Love and All You Need Is Love. I knew either Ants or Billies was coming next. I was hoping it was Billies, but it wasn't. Oh well. Ants jammed out and everyone sang and danced. Highlights of the night were True Reflections, #41, Watchtower, JTR, Grey Street, Ants, and Boyd & Leroi tearing it up on just about every song (especially Seek Up, JTR, #41, Watchtower, and Ants). Lowlights were no Billies, LIOG, Stone, DIDO, Jimi Thing, Halloween, or PNP>Rapunzel. Also, for some reason, the real long jams were not there. The longest songs were Seek Up and #41. But you can't get everything you want. Can't wait for the summer tour and Dave's new album!

I was def. looking foward to this concert esp. being the "last stop of the tour and 2000" (a little Dave Speak there...)It was great show and had tons of energy...i was dissapointed with Satellite, Crash, and DDTW they are great songs but i dont like to hear them at concerts really, i knew they were going to be played at philly though...the begining of the show was pretty good....The Song That Jane Likes was an amazing version and was def, a highlight of the begining...#41 was good and i hoping to hear the Eveyday outro, it is really catchy and i still have the Every-day in my head, i really hope it is a piece of a new song...the show really didnt get going until Watchtower, it was by far the best version i have ever heard, better than all my shows, live cds, dmb cds, and mp3s...Anyone Seen The Bridge was also very nice, i love it...Christmas Song was good and so was Ants (which we all knew would have to be the closer) it was def. a good show...oh yeah and i alomost forogt...Blue Water...wow...i was hoping for it and i got it...it was really good, and no one knew what it was so it was so quiet and i could hear everyword, and Dave did not show any signs of being sick like he was at RI...and the Dave Speak was good so check that out...later

This was my 3rd show of this tour and it was in between a great Penn State show and a adequate Albany show. The highlight for me was the same as it was in Penn State getting to hear Blue Water Baboon Farm. I noticed that no one except me and a few others around that were within earshot actually know what song that it was. If they only knew how long Boyd goes nuts in that song. Anyway back to the show, Song that Jane Likes was great, never get enough of that tune, Seek Up was great as usual as an opener, and even though I heard Grey Street at all 7 shows this year, I think its on of the best songs they've ever done. Great Watchtower and a great Too Much to close out the set. Xmas Song was good and they were really into Ants, it almost appeared they were going to play a second encore, but then after about 10 minutes they turned the house lights back on. All in all a real good tour and can't wait to get my copy of "Everyday".

This may have been the worst concert I've ever attended (At least at the Marc Anthony show that I was dragged to this summer, he played "I Need to Know" at the end of his hour and 10 minute performance.) Prior to DMB coming on stage, I made two lists: one, a list of the 15 songs I'd most like to hear and the other, a list of the 15 songs that just aren't very good or that are played way too often in concert. Can you guess which list he played 9 songs off of? The highlight of the show was the opener, "Seek Up." (Partially, because it wasn't One Sweet World, which I'd heard to open at the last three shows I attended.) Of course, they played Seek Up for way to long. At one point the person sitting next to me asked if they were going to bring up the house lights at the end of the song. Still a good opener and it hinted toward a different kind of evening. But then (in the immortal words of VH-1 Behind the Music)...tragedy struck. In what was perhaps the most radio-friendly DMB concert ever, we were "treated" to WWYS, DDTW, Satellite and JTR (All 4 off the aforementioned bad list.) Finally, we came up for air with JANE, a song that I don't particulary care for but I know Bake likes, so I was happy to hear it. Plus it was different. Then he put the show 6-feet underground with R+R and True Reflections. Brief comeback with #41 was killed with the 5 minute "Everyday" outro. (To Dave: Everyone at the show is going to buy your damn album if it ever comes out. Stop promoting it with crappy outros. Play another song from the album if you want, but show a little sympathy.) Crash was actually good, especially for the 11 year-olds two rows in front of me that made me wish I brought a garden hose into the arena. Then...the bottom fell out with Watchtower. At this point, the unsophisticated and uncouth audience began lobbing glo-sticks toward the stage. I was hoping one would magically turn into a grenade, and without doing any harm to the members of the BTQ (Boyd Tinsley Quintet), would still force them to end the song abruptly in the middle. No such luck. Slight redemption with Grey Street, but the words were different and not as good as during the summer shows. Finally, we tuned our radios back just in time to catch SMTS and Too Much off the overplayed list. As for the encores, I love the Christmas Song, but a couple of things. One, it was almost ruined by the Blue Water Baboon Crap. (Why don't they ever play #40 anymore?) Two, it is a religious song, regardless of what Dave mumbles before he starts playing. I guess songs that honor pot smoking and alcohol are fine, but to present the attitude to impressionable youths that it's OK to actually believe in an organized religion is wrong. (What a joke.) Finally, the song was ruined by all the idiots in the audience clapping during the verses and the horny 14-year old girls screaming "I love you Dave!" while the savior of the world is being crucified in the song. ANTS was a good way to close, but Boyd was flat for the entire song. There you have it. No Warehouse. No Two Step. No Say Goodbye and no Graves to Lie In...but I guess I can count my blessings that they didn't play #36.
An overall good show. It was slow to get started, and the begining half of the set didn't seem to flow well from one song to the next. But staring with #41 the show really began to pick up and closed out strong. "All Along the Watchtower" really rocked tonight, the best version I've ever heard. SMTS--> Too Much was jammin. It was good to hear some older songs that aren't played too often- Seek Up and the Song that Janes Likes. Crowd seemed real into it tonight and my only complaint would be the girl a few rows behind me in section 121 that kept yelling for Lover Lay Down after every song. Closed out the show perfectly-- 'Ants Marching' with the assistance of 20,000 back-up singers.

What a difference a show makes without the lovely ladies, i think the ladies should take a break during the next summer tour, and i dont think i'm alone here. When dave said this is our last show of 2000, i thought we were in for a great show, but there was just too many radio songs. The boys still did play an amazing show, which they do "everyday". They opened up with a little Seek Up which was nice to see them get back to their old ways, they jammed nicely on What Would You Say, and dave danced away during JTR, he was crazy. You gotta love it when you hear dave say "i got a little sister named jane," they played the song pretty standard, boyd shined during true reflections on the violin and on the mic, #41, my personal fav, sounded great with the everday outro, i guess this is all we have to look forward to the new album. Grey St was great and during anyone seen the bridge, the crowd really got into it, when they started the encore off with blue water, it took me a few seconds to understand what it was, dave should have played it entirely but left us with a tease, X-mas song was introduced by dave saying, "this is not a religious song" and closing with Ants was cool, especially with 1-2-3 jam, all in all, it was a cool show, it's a shame that nobody could feel their bodies from the temperature outside after all that fun stuff we do in the parking lot!!

I went to the show at the vet over the summer, and this show was definitely superior to that one. This had a better mix of new and old songs. I hadn't really heard Grey Street and JTR until last nite, but i must say that they are great songs. Watchtower and Ants Marching were unbelievable tonite, the crowd was really into both of them. Greater interlude on Watchtower. Seek up and Rhyme and Reason were also really damn good, with a good outro on Seek Up. Good #41 and Crash, I love those songs. Song that Jane likes was also pretty damn good. All in all it was a fantastic show, and I can't wait til next year.

2/3 of this review will be the same as yesterday's review(12/16/00)..Why is that?? Because that is the approximate amount of repeats that were played between the 2 shows! This tour should have been in March..cause it came in like a lion and went out like a lamb. 10 repeats!!! arggh!! Well, I guess chalk it up to Dave's flu..but it is still just so damn dissapointing. Granted..if you look at this show from a single night standpoint..it may not be all that bad. However..taking a more panoramic view of the show...well, it was as unsatisfying as being a girl's bicycle seat for Rosie O'Donnell. Well, they are still the best thing going..and I look forward to breaking the gold anniversary mark for shows when he comes around in the spring/summer. Peace..and safe holidays everyone. Bake.

Aside from SEEK UP and BLUE WATER, I was really expecting more from the last show of the tour. I know Dave was sick and this was a great show, but when I went to Hartford in 99 I was blown away and tonight was just like any other show. It was a great show though and I hope no one thinks I am complaining. One thing that does bother me is that when I went to PSU and Dave played BLUE WATER solo it wasn't considered a partial song. However, BLUE WATER during this show was no less than anything in PSU and was considered a tease. I just found that odd. Anyway, WATCHTOWER was amazing, but was at an odd point in the set and could have had a much better impact on the show had it been somewhere else. All-in-all this was a great show and I am excited for the nest tour.

the highlight of the show was All Along the Watchtower, every one went nuts. this show was better then the one in the summer, at the Vet. DAVE was going crazy, he is a dancing fool. my fav. song was prob. Grey Street but the lead into Christmas Song, Blue Water, was soooo good. so you guys know DMB is the best live show out there, and nancies.org is the best DMB site ever.

I don't understand how anyone could post a bad review of this show. At least in my opinion, right from the opening chords of Seek Up no one had a right to complain for the rest of the nite. This is definitely one of my all time favorites and the band threw in soo many incredible solos, I couldn't have asked for a better opener. WWYS is always nice and they really jammed it out which seemed to be the theme for all the songs throughout the nite. JTR is a great song but definitely needs the old chorus. I am a big fan of BTCS and was dissapointed to only hear DDTW but it was the best version I have ever heard. Song That Jane Likes is another great classic as is Rhyme and Reason, both were spectacular. #41 is my favorite of all time and the "Everyday" outro was the most beautiful Dave singing I think I've ever heard. Hopefully that will be a song in itself on the new album. All Along the Watchtower and Grey Street back to back were an amazing combination that really fired the crowd up. Grey Street is my favorite of the "new not gonna be realeased anytime soon" material, and unfortunately it was my only minor complaint of the nite. The whole band seemed to be just getting through the song without playing it as hard as during the summer tour. Well that was more than compensated for by my first Anyone Seen the Bridge. Ever since I saw that Dave played a solo Blue Water at PSU I have been jealous not expecting to ever see it played twice in the same tour. Then I heard the opening chords and I went crazy, that song was AMAZING! Even though it was only the acoustic first verse I couldn't have asked for a more incredible encore. Christmas Song was expected from other setlists I had read and it really was beautiful. The Philadelphia crowd managed to stay pretty quiet for the majority of the song. Ants as a closer was incredible and made the nite defintely one of the best Dave shows I've ever heard. Can't wait till next year!

Cool, solid show. Dave and the boys put on an excellent show to close out this mini-tour of massive proportions. Being the last show of the tour, I was hoping to get at least a couple of these songs - Blue Water, Exodus, Cortez the Killer, Halloween, or Watchtower (I know Watchtower's common, but they have not played it at a show that I have been to yet.) I was also hoping for some special guests since it was their final show like 12-19-98 or 9-20-00. But I'll get to that later. The show: SEEK UP - Awesome version. Must have been 16 minutes long. Boyd was shaking his head over and over during his solo part at the beginning. Stefan was really into it too. Great way to open. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY - It was nice, the intro was shortened a bit. When "What Would You Say" was shouted, all the lights came on. Everyone was singing along. JTR - Called it. Great, but the outro makes the song. Dave was dancing up a storm. SATELLITE - Short and sweet. Dave did a little guitar intro that I've never heard before.DON'T DRINK THE WATER - Intense. I could've swore I heard Alanis when Dave was yelling "...live with my justice." SONG THAT JANE LIKES - I liked this. I liked this. Very cool how everyone yells "Hey!" in the beginning. RHYME AND REASON - Ehh. Alright. It was cool to sing along to. TRUE REFLECTIONS - A guy behind me was mad but I liked it. Carter backed up Boyd's vocals, I guess since there were no Lovely Ladies. Dave did a cool reggae yell right at the end when only the drums are going. #41 - One of the highlights. Great jams all around and Dave and Boys were dancing all over the stage. The Everyday outro is so cool. I'll be humming the chorus for a week to come. ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER - Highlight of the night. First of the 5 songs I wanted to hear. It was unbelieveably intense, the most intense I've ever heard.. If you get excited when you hear this at home, in concert it is unbelieveable. In concert, it pales in comparison. Great lights. Dave was dancing here too. Follwed perfectly by GREY STREET - I like the one-two punch here. Great version. Good jams all around. One of my favorite lyric lines "She said Please. There's a crazy mad standing outside my door. I live on the corner of Grey Street. At the End of the World." Then SMTS --> ASTB --> TM - I like this one-two punch also. Cool way to end the set with Dave yelling f--- it up at the end of TM. ENCORE: Dave came out with Carter and I was suspecting nothing more than a Christmas Song and, since Watchtower was done, an Ants or a PNP --> Rapunzel. But instead, to my enjoyment, we got BLUE WATER (TEASE) - I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was so quiet when he was singing, it was amazing, because no one knew what it was. I love the line "So Much MORE" But then CHRISTMAS SONG - only 45 seconds of Blue Water? Oh well this was a good version, besides all the idiots who screamed during the pauses. Did the Beatles cover. It was cool. Finally ANTS MARCHING - Great way to end the show. Dave thanked a guy named Ritchie during the time when he usually thanks the crowd, who I later found out was retiring from the road. The guys went crazy. Stefan even got into it and was dancing with Boyd and Dave. Dave went almost behind the drum set two times during the song. It was so darn cool. Great way to end a great tour. NOTES: I was a little disappointed with the number of rare songs in the show. No Exodus, Cortez, Halloween, or special guests. But hey we got Blue Water what else could a guy ask for. Dave didn't look sick like he was at the Providence show. Everyone was into the show tonight. It was so awesome. Cool, solid show. A person was holding a sign in about the third row and they put it up everytime Dave said "Thank ya very much" It said, "No, Thank You Very Much." I wholehartedly agree.

This was the fourth show of the tour I'd attended, and while I didn't review any of the others, I figured I'd sum up my tour experience after this show. First of all, Penn State was probably the best show I've seen, if for no other reason Dave pointed at my Halloween sign for the encore and, as far as I can tell, played it because he saw and heard us yelling for it, and the first Blue Water in almost six years helped too. New York's shows were very tight, especially with the addition of Warren Haynes and the first Exodus in four years (yet another song I never thought I'd hear). As for Philly, I expected alot from the boys, especially because they hadn't played a very long tour and that this was the last stop. If I were a radio-song fan who had never seen the band, I can assure you that I would've thought tonight was one of the best concerts ever. Needless to say, after 16 shows and some of the best live performances the band has played, I was quite disappointed. I thought it would be a very special night when I heard the Seek Up opener, but for the most part, the show went kinda downhill from there. Between the mediocre versions of Jane and #41 and the all too common Crash, Satellite and True Reflections, I was not too pleased with the setlist the boys had chosen for the evening. I will fully admit that the encore was great, hearing Blue Water for the second time and another great Christmas Song. The band was into the show, and the energy was there, but I guess I expected a little more out of the last DMB show of 2000. Overall, a pretty solid show, certainly worth attending. I guess I just would've liked to have heard some mroe obscure songs, maybe even a "Last Stop". Hope y'all have a good holiday and I'll see you at shows in the new year...

This show owns the #1 place in my heart amongst DMB concerts. I can't say it had a strong start though. SEEK UP is a great song, just didn't pull the crowd in. Way up in section 209, the sound was fine... but the audience was weak. I’d have to say the turning point was #41! Maybe this is also because I got the hell out of sec. 209 and moved to the 14th row, 10 paces from GOD. During #41, all the people who had been sitting couldn't help but stand up. The EVERYDAY ending was so much longer than when I saw the band on 12/08/00… Some great spurts of DAVESPEAK to make the night enjoyable. The LIGHTS were unbelievable. WATCHTOWER threw the crowd in to a crazy mode. GLOWSTICKS by the hundreds were flying across the arena and it seemed as though by screaming WATCHTOWER Dave had started FIREWORKS. The FIRST UNION CENTER was ALIVE!!! Can we say BLUE WATER! My god, I saw both shows when he played this song…my life is one step closer to complete :). CHRISTMAS SONG was so sweet, especially for the ladies in the audience. And closing the tour with ANTS MARCHING was tight. The DAVE MATTHEWS BAND is about as close to HEAVEN as you get on EARTH!

Dave played a good one tonight, Seek up is a long starter, first off.....But What Would You Say was AWESOME, it got the crowd so fired up! Jtr was very good, a lotta people knew it, eventho it is not on the new album....DDTW is not one of my favorites, but the rest of the 21,000 people there seemed to like it...Satellite was awesome, a nice little slow down....#41 was about 41 mintues long but its cool....Crash, you can say enough about Crash, esp. Dixie Chicken...Crash was definately a HUGE highlight of the night. then watchtower, he usually closes with that so when he played it i thought that was the end of the seltlist but when he was done he picked up another guitar and played 3 more incredible songs.Grey Street was awesome and then a very nice closing...Blue water was a little suprise and the Christmas song was kinda a given but it was still good, and then ANTS, i dont have enough room to get started with that.the philly crowd was incredible tonight! they sung every word to every song, and really kept the vibe up, AWESOME SHOW IN PHILLY DAVE, GOOD WAY TO CLOSE A NICE LITTLE TOUR!

Let me just say one thing, Seek Up! I can't believe DMB decided to open with it. It was so funny because on the way there I was like seek up, seek up and as soon as I entered the FU Center it was playing and I freaked. It is one of my all time fav DMB songs and I love its message. Well, onto the show...Besides Seek Up I felt that it was a pretty mediocre show. I really liked hearing JTR and Grey Street and I hope they make it onto Everybody. The band did a great job on All Along the Watchtower and Rhyme & Reason. (I had chills!) The rest of the show, however, was a little too radio friendly and since it was the last stop on the tour I guess I was expecting a little more. I'm sorry, but I am really tired of hearing Crash and True Reflections, great songs but I wanted to hear something a little different. (Halloween, Warehouse.) Also SMTS right into Too Much was actually a little too much. But heck, it was DMB and I love anything they do. They could basically stand there and sing Happy Birthday and I would be enthrawled. Oh, and it was cool to hear something different with Blue Water, I have never heard that before. Ants Marching was of course a great way to end the show. Great energy during the song and it sounded great. So, all in all it was a pretty average show for DMB, but then again it was DMB and that made it AWESOME!!! Peace:)

It was great to see Dave and the guys back in Philly ....however it seemed that the guys just couldn't wait to get home after this short tour. It was a relativly short show... and no real jams.. kinda laid back show.. i'd say a 6 out of 10 which is still awsome! Highlights for me were Gray Street, even though this one kinda took the crowd out a little bit... noone knew the words... but for me it was sweet.. also love hearing the Christmas song.. noone can make Jesus sound cooler then DAVE.. haha. Watchtower was good to hear... not long....but very powerfull and energetic. Was kinda disapointed in Ants to close the show... was kinda praying for LIOG or 2step... but hey... we can't always get spoiled.. All in all good show.. strong playing...just not long enough and no jams.. can't wait for the summer and the new album !!!!! peace!

Great Show. Seats were alright but the accoustics of the First Union Center are awesome. Just have to say this is only my 2nd show I have attended but they played my song #41 with a nice little twist of the Everyday Outro. This was the song I wanted to hear and I did Dave Matthews Band knows how to deliver. The show was nonstop upbeat. I was dancing the whole time. People in section 207a you know who you are, You guys and gals were awesome. Not one time that didn't have a blast. Matt and crew you guys were awesome thanks for the Beer again. The lights at the show kicked but and everyone was into the show like I was making it even more of a special Christmas Gift from my parents. The show was so awesome i have lost my voice from screaming and singing along. The closer i thought would be real blah when i heard the opening chords of Ants but Boyd and Dave and the rest of the crew made up for this radio classic song. The jams that were going around all night were nice making the show a nice 2 hours and 45 minutes long. Good Show and what a way to close the small Winter Tour. Can't wait for the new album and the summer tour. Dave Matthews Band has never let me down and the fans made it even more of a special night. Merry Christmas all and have a Happy New Year. Be Merry and Be safe

This was the fourth show I've been to overall, and the first since July. I think I had too high of expectations, since the 7/16 show at the Vet was just unreal, and I was also keeping up to date on the setlists from the other New Years shows. I was a little let down that he didn't play any of his old concert stand-bys (billies, jimi thing, etc.), but the stuff that he did play was sweet. The highlights included true reflections, which is rapidly becoming my favorite jam, along with Grey Street. The version of Watchtower was just ridiculous, with the band going all out relatively early in the show for when Watchtower's usually played. These people in the 200 level were tossing glow sticks down onto the floor, and the floor people were tossing them back and forth. Great visual right there. The opening was sweet too, with Seek Up really getting the crowd into it, then WWYS, always good, but the crowd seemed to come down for JTR since not a lot of people seemed to know what it was. SMTS-->ASTB? into Too Much was sweet to end the setlist. When the band left, the crowd went nuts, including a huge "We Want Dave" chant coming from our section. He didn't disappoint with the encore, and the crowd really went nuts for Christmas Song and Ants. All in all a good show, can't wait for the new album and the tour that will follow. Peace.

all i can say is WOW! this show was one of the best i've ever seen...i cant believe it..seek up and song that jane likes! the crowd was going crazy the whole time. it was the perfect end to a great tour. the setlist was amazing. and not only did the band play very well, they also added all the intros, outros, and jams that make it the perfect choice if they were to make another concert cd...hint hint i hope someones listening! i hope the next time i see dmb in concert its as good as this time!

Well this is the first winter show i was ever at and it was an amazing way to end the seventh dmb show of the year, kinda disappointed no halloween but i lived. Seek Up was an awesome opener and a nice 15 min jam.JTR had a nice jam too. Watchtower was amazing never seen such energy along with smts astb->too much. Dave sung the new outro too 41 and grey street's lyrics have seemed to change. The encore was amazing with a Blue Water tease into the long awaited Christmas song With an amazing Ants to end DMB in 2000. Cant wait too 2001 and the new album meery xmas all and happy millenium.

The show started out great with Seek Up which was 20 or more minutes long and consisted of many amazing solos. As usual, the outro for JTR was very electrified and was the best part of the song. Don't drink the water was really nice, always a crowd pleaser. #41 was played really well and at the end had extra lyrics which included "everyday" repeated many times by dave, perhaps as a preview for the new cd "everyday".I found the second half of the concert to be much better than the first half...with crash and watchtower being the staples of the show. The crowd was very into those two songs. Grey street is my favorite new song so that was nice to see and it was played fabulously. Hearing blue water, even if it was just the first verse was a huge and great surprise. This was the first time i saw christmas song live and i thought it was sweet as hell. Ants was a good finisher but i was kinda hoping for two step. All in all a good show, but not the best i've seen.

Solid show overall. Not the best I've seen from the band, but not the worst either. The highlights for me were Seek Up, which I had been praying for, and an incredible mid-set watchtower. Also, it was cool to hear the first verse of Blue Water. Very weird vibe during that. The everyday outro to #41 was cool to hear, makes me look forward to the new album. One complaint I have is the amount of radio songs played. I think the band is starting to get burned out on the current material, so this new album should help that a lot. But as a dave show goes, I'd give it a 5 or 6 on the kick ass scale from 1-10.

wow...intereseting show for the last one of the tour, first of all thank you to the box office for hooking me up with section 3, 17 rows from the stage instead of our section 2oo something seats (which we did by the way sell for face value to the people who got screwed over by the box office cuz dave fans dont screw over dave fans), so on to the show i could see how someone not in floor seats wouldnt love this one but being down there (especially for the fiorst time being so close) was insane. was hoping and expecting warehouse, (favorite song) but when he broke into nice relaxed seek up couldnt complain. highlights were 41 and watchtowert (surprised he plkayed 41 two nights in a row), both were very intense and i liked how the entire floor section really got into both of these. encore was tight also, some guy int he 2nd tow had a blue water sign probably accounting for him playing it and christmas song --i wouldnt be so excited to hear but sinigng along with 20000 other people to this one is just awesome. ants to close, was sort of hoping for some sort of creative close to the tour but it was standard, awesome as always, they can play this one evrey night it'll never stop being an awesome concert song. one complaint...count the radio songs in this one, wwys smts, too much ants, crash etc... all in all a bit of a downer that the last show of the tour wasnt as intense as last week in teh garden (12/13-- greatest show ive ever heard) but it was dmb so of course, cant complian at all, the show was incredible as always...cant wait for 2/27 thanks for the good times yall

I got worried when I was reading online that Dave was sick the previous night from the flu; I thought tonight's show at the FU Center was going to be mellow and not very loud - I was wrong. Dave and the boys "played the hell out of those songs." This is my 4th DMB show and it surely was the loudest of them all. The setlist was a little weak - 6 of the 16 were radio songs - but like I said, they played really well. Dave didn't look sick nor did he sing like he was sick. I also think they perform better when there aren't any special guests helping them out - i.e. the lovely ladies or Butch Taylor, etc. I had a bet with an acquaintance as to what song DMB would open with - I said Warehouse, he said OSW, both were wrong and a great opener was Seek Up (first time hearing it live). Dave them pulls out the 12-string for a great rendition of JTR, I wonder if that'll make it onto the new album? Everyone went nuts when STJL started with Dave's patented line opening the song, "I've got a sister named Jane...." #41 used the Everyday outro which was nice because that was the first time I'd heard that live, too. Crash was nice and then I thought the show would end early with Watchtower - wrong again. :) Watchtower was great with the lighting effects (kudos to the lighting guys/girls). Another first for me, hearing the SMTS->ASTB?->TM trio was a nice surprise to end the show with lots of energy. I'm glad I got to hear the ASTB and I really am amazed at how well the two songs fit together. The encore was expected, someone behind me shouted to his friend, "Christmas song and Ants Marching," and that's what it was. The Blue Water first-verse that he played confused everyone around me - a girl next to me leaned over and said, "what's this?" But, I was impressed that Dave picked Penn State and Philadelphia to play a bit of Blue Water. Ending with the Christmas Song and Ants Marching was good, albeit predictable, and wrapped up an extraordinary night of firsts. Good show, good show!

This was my third show this year, and it was probably the best. I got tickets right after they went on sale, and they were behind the stage. I wasn't really looking forward to it. Then when we got to our seats, it turned out that were awesome. It was cool to get a view that was practically over the band. This was the first time that I could see Carter good, and he is very cool to watch. Also, you can see the band communicate with each other which was neat. I thought that Roi was the highlight of this particular show, as his solos were the best I'd heard. He was great in 41 and Seek up. The band put an extra verse on the end of 41 which was interesting. It was to 41 music, but it was off beat, and the chorus was "Everyday" The new cd is called Everyday, so I'm guessing thats a new songs lyrics put to an off beat 41. I know I've never heard it before. Another highlight was STJL, I haven't heard that in a while, and Boyd had a cool little solo in it. Dave wasn't very talkative, and didn't say his usual off the wall comments. Other than that it was your standard DMB show.

had terrible seats way at the top with a light pole obstructing my view of dave's mike. way to go warehouse!! my first show back from three months in russia. my 33 all together had great moments but overall just ok. seek up to start and i was praying for it. nice relaxed still the perfect opener. broke right into WWYS and the crowd loved it. when dave jammed into his guitar solo he went nuts. dancing everywhere as was the general theme for the night for dave. lots of thank yous and lots of dancing. JTR followed with style i really love that song and the outro especially though not too many in the cheaps joined in to sing with me. DDTW was solid though i have never been a big fan. my friend was thrilled to hear Satellite so i wasn't too bothered then dave quietly announced he had a sister named jane and we went nuts. a simple song that is such a great tune. R&R, True reflections and 41 were fairly standard, with the exception of the everyday outro on 41, so sweet leroi shined as always. then a crash of course for the newbies and a simply amazing watchtower in the middle of the setlist. it just smoked and blue the crowd away. the hightlight of the show for me, next to bluewater and the christmas song.then came grey street which is generally a great song but the band seemed out of it for there was low energy and because dave always changes the lyrics of the first verse its always hard to get into if the energy isnt high. SMTS with AOSB into too much never gets old ever. blue water and christmas song were amazing. i knew christmas song was coming being the last show of the christmas tour. Ants was a great closer but it seemed abbreviated. no normal duel between dave and stefan and a shortened middle. thanks

Overall, awesome show. SEEK UP was a little bit slow for an opener but Dave got the crowd going with WHAT WOULD YOU SAY. True DMB fans were psyched when Dave did the Dixie Chicken ending on CRASH. However, I must highlight ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER as being the high point of my night. From the first big flash of lights at "No reason to get excited" it was raining glowsticks. The crowd was pumped and dancing like crazy. It would have been a good closer but Dave kept us going with SO MUCH TO SAY, TOO MUCH, and ANTS MARCHING. He threw in a little CHRISTMAS SONG in the holiday spirit with the can't buy me love all you need is love. A concert so awesome we booed when the lights came back on. A+ Dave experience!

I loved it. About half way into Blue Water, Dave stopped and said something like "This isn't a religious song now." Christmas Song was nice, but the All you need is love, Can't buy me love lines are a bit cheesy. When Dave and Carter finished, I was hoping that the rest of the boys would stay off-stage, so that they could play Halloween. I wasn't that lucky. However, I was treated to an incredible Ants. This was really a great way for them to end the tour. I can't wait for the "Everyday" and for the next tour.

This version was just like the one at Hershey, but I think that the lyrics changed a little bit...great anyway.

I was def. looking foward to this concert esp. being the "last stop of the tour and 2000" (a little Dave Speak there...)It was great show and had tons of energy...i was dissapointed with Satellite, Crash, and DDTW they are great songs but i dont like to hear them at concerts really, i knew they were going to be played at philly though...the begining of the show was pretty good....The Song That Jane Likes was an amazing version and was def, a highlight of the begining...#41 was good and i hoping to hear the Eveyday outro, it is really catchy and i still have the Every-day in my head, i really hope it is a piece of a new song...the show really didnt get going until Watchtower, it was by far the best version i have ever heard, better than all my shows, live cds, dmb cds, and mp3s...Anyone Seen The Bridge was also very nice, i love it...Christmas Song was good and so was Ants (which we all knew would have to be the closer) it was def. a good show...oh yeah and i alomost forogt...Blue Water...wow...i was hoping for it and i got it...it was really good, and no one knew what it was so it was so quiet and i could hear everyword, and Dave did not show any signs of being sick like he was at RI...and the Dave Speak was good so check that out...later -marsh

Dave and the boys put on an excellent show to close out this mini-tour of massive proportions. During No reason to get excited the first time during Watchtower, everyone threw thier glowsticks. Dave's voice was really hoarse. Dave's voice was really hoarse.

I'd have to say the turning point was #41! Maybe this is also because I got the hell out of sec. 209 and moved to the 14th row, 10 paces from GOD. During #41, all the people who had been sitting couldn't help but stand up. The EVERYDAY ending was so much longer than when I saw the band on 12/08/00. Some great spurts of DAVESPEAK to make the night enjoyable. My god, I saw both shows when he played this song.my life is one step closer to complete :).

Dixie Chicken...Crash was definately a HUGE highlight of the night. then watchtower, he usually closes with that so when he played it i thought that was the end of the seltlist but when he was done he picked up another guitar and played 3 more incredible songs.Grey Street was awesome and then a very nice closing...Blue water was a little suprise and the Christmas song was kinda a given but it was still good, and then ANTS, i dont have enough room to get started with that.the philly crowd was incredible tonight! they song every word to every song, and really kept the vibe up, AWESOME SHOW IN PHILLY DAVE, GOOD WAY TO CLOSE A NICE LITTLE TOUR!

Well, this was my second Dave Matthews concert and it was really good. I had went tot the July 16th show in Philly the previous summer and that was amazing. They started off with Seek Up, what a surprise, but it was great. It lasted too long though. What Would You SAy was good, then going into JTR, DDTW, and Satellite was pretty good. The Song That Jane Likes was the first time live and I enjoyed it. Rhyme and Reason is a good song. True Reflections was really good because Boyd Tinsley is the man and he sings that song. #41, one of my favorites. I loved it! Honestly, I can't stand Crash Into Me. I never really liked it, but they play it on the radio every 5 minutes and it gets to me. Watchtower, WOW! Without Watchtower and #41, I think this show would have sucked. These are the only 2 songs that he didn't play at the last concert I went to that I really wanted to hear. Greystreet, n my opinion is a great song. He changes the words every time he sings it. The rest of the show was decent. Finishing with the Christmas Song and Ants was awesome. The concert was great, but I ended up standing outside for two hours after the concert freezing my ass off!...but it was well worth it. Can't wait for the next show in 2001!!!
