What an amazing show. It was my friend Kristi's birthday. And what a great surprise birthday present for her to have Dave show up at a Trey show. Trey introduced Dave and he came out to play Everyday, the day after the album was released. I forgot how great it was until I finally found a copy of the show. And then Dave and Trey play Three Little Birds together what a surprise! I was hoping Dave would play some more DMB songs but Everyday was all he played of his own. After that it was strictly covers. First Bob Marley's Three Little Birds. Then Dave put the guitar away and sang and danced while Trey and the band covered Whatever Gets You Through The Night a John Lennon Song. Then it is off stage and back for the encore Dave comes out...thank you god!!! and Trey and the band cover Sly and the Family Stone's I Want to Take You Higher while Dave dances on stage and helps out with some background vocals. A totally different side of Dave and a total shock!!!
