Due to illness, Dave Matthews did not perform at the Willie Nelson and Friends Concert. Sources have said that Dave did travel to Nashville with the intention of playing, but ended up being too sick to perform.

In the end, the USA Network decided to air a solo Dave Matthews performance of "Ain't It Funny How Time Slips Away" from the April 21st show at the Molson Centre in Montreal.

The Willie Nelson and Friends concert was broadcast in its entirety on Monday May 27 at 9pm EST.
