Let me start out by saying that this was a Vote for Change show and going into it I expected every artist to tell me who to vote for. I was pleasently surprised when we were only encouraged to vote. I am not sure where my vote is going and I did not need someone telling me who to use it on. Anyway, the show started off nicely with OSW. I have not heard that song in a long time and I have been to a ton of shows. Then, the second song...Granny...blew me away. That is easily my favorite song. The show progress normally with a few jams and some entertaining "Dave Speak". We heard The Song that Jane Likes as well as Hello Again and Tripping Billies. All crowd pleasers. Then after Sugar Will concluded, they set up another microphone. I assumed it would be Ben Harper since he opened up. NOPE...IT WAS NEIL YOUNG. WOW is all I can say afterward. I have never seen so much energy on stage. It did seem like Dave and Neil weren't quite on the same page at times, but man was this worth my 5 hour drive from Chicago. Great show!!!!
