Alagia Hints at New DVD

DMB's long-time studio engineer John Alagia has dropped a strong hint that the long-awaited new DVD may be on its way. The Projects page on his website, which keeps people abreast of his latest work, reads in part: "Febraury, mix DMB DVD." Though there's been no word from the band or any other media outlet, nancies.org first carried word of a DVD of the 07/11/01 Folsom Field show back in August; it seems likely that this is the DVD that Alagia is referring to. Of the 21 songs performed that night, 8 were from "Everyday," 4 from the Lillywhite Sessions and the remaining 9 distributed between the remaining albums. Despite the heavy "Everyday" presence, the encore of "Two Step" and "Ants Marching" should be enough to soften even the most jaded fan's heart. This will be the band's third DVD; their first being "Listener Supported," and the second last August's release, "The Videos 1994-2001." Thanks to Debbie from dmbrr.com for the tip.
