Taj Mahal Opening in May

Pollstar is listing blues legend Taj Mahal as the opening act for all Texas shows, in Selma (05/02), Woodlands (05/04, 05/05), and Dallas (05/07). Dave Matthews Band is not currently listing anybody as the opening act for any of those dates. He is touring to promote his Grammy Award-winning blues album, Shoutin' in Key. Taj Mahal is no stranger to opening for DMB; his Phantom Blues Band has warmed up the crowd for the band in the summer of 2000 and, before that, in May of 1998. Thanks to Daniel Lifshen for the tip.
