eBay Failing to Fight Fraud

It's no secret that bootleggers often sell live recordings of Dave Matthews Band for outrageous prices on eBay, and it's also no secret that the on-line DMB community has long fought this illegal activity. In fact, Ryan Shepard even wrote an article, "Online Activism: Stopping the Sale of Band Bootlegs," in March of this year to instruct people in how to properly submit complaints to eBay. Unfortunately, an investigation by MSNBC has shown that fraud reports sent to eBay often result in no action being taken, which explains why so many people seem to get away with it.
