Retrospective to Air in December

Radio syndication network Westwood One is broadcasting a 90-minute piece about DMB, entitled "Dave Matthews Band Retrospective Special," in early December, according to a press release by Westwood. The broadcast will review DMB's decade-long history, including interviews and excerpts from concerts. Though it's not stated explicitly, this will presumably be on the radio and not television. Because Westwood One makes this show available to interested radio stations nationwide, only a broadcast window of December 7th-9th has been specified. It is not known which radio stations will broadcast the piece. It's noteworthy that Westwood One (managed by Infinity Broadcasting, which is owned by entertainment giant Viacom) is a direct competitor of Clear Channel, the radio behemoth that Dave Matthews Band has worked with extensively in the past for a number of services, notably promotion and similar special radio events.
