Boyd Again Sponsoring Tennis Tournament

For the second year in a row, violinist Boyd Tinsley is sponsoring the Boyd Tinsley USTA Pro Tennis Championships, this year doubling the purse to $50,000. The week-long event will again be held at Charlottesville's Boar's Head Inn. Last year's event was primarily notable for the implosion of Anna Kournikova, whose terrible performance there made cemented her reputation as a lightweight in the tennis world. Boyd plays tennis recreationally, describing himself as an intermediate player.
