Money Raised at Golden Gate Distributed

Dave Matthews Band has announced the California charities that will be the targets of the band's largesse, the AP reports. The voluntary contributions for those who attended from last year's free Golden Gate Park concert, the band's annual charitable performance, came to $1M, and will benefit The Taylor Family Foundation (a summer camp for children with life-threatening illnesses), the playground at the Sunnydale housing project, and San Francisco's homeless-support program.
