SF Concert: It's On

In March, the word on the street was that the band would be having another large-scale outdoor concert, like last year's Central Park performance, this time in San Francisco, sometime this summer. Going right to the source, reader Michael Govoni contacted Anheuser-Busch, one of the alleged sponsors of the event, who responded in the affirmative. "Budweiser is sponsoring the biggest music event of the year – a live benefit concert featuring the Dave Matthews Band," wrote the beer maker. "The concert is going to be held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on September 12, 2004." Given this, it is evident that, right now, the concert is full steam ahead.
