Ok, first off, it doesn't look like the setlist update on the official site works all the way down here in Ozzie land so yr gonna have to trust my account of the night...This was my first DMB show, being their first tour to Australia, ever, (it's been quite a long wait...) the anticipation was ridiculous...Anyway, the show was amazing - although they did sound a bit rough for the first few tracks the excitement of the crowd carried them through as all the audio/performance niggles got worked out...the jam in WWYS got the crowd moving and everything just rolled along from there...Interestingly they didn't play any of the four new songs they were playing last summer (in the States), but they did debut American Baby - which probably sounds better live, particularly in the outro where Carter shined...Boyd would come alive when he got some time for his solo's, they all really seemed to be having a great time - only having 3,000 people to play to was probably a nice change...Too Much was brilliant to end the first set, i think the intro jam they did might hint towards the more 'dancy' feel they've talked about for the new album...ending up with Tripping Billies had the crowd dancing to the end, now i've just gotta wait for tomorrow night....
