In my opinion, DMB's shows are like having sex, even when its bad its still pretty good. So to say the show was bad would be way off. I loved being there, in the greatest city in FL, (GO GATORS!), but the show failed to keep any momentum. They would play a really bad ass song and have the crowd pumped up and screaming, then play a slow song which often times lost the crowd. At one point, while Dave was singing one of his new songs, everyone stopped listening and started chatting with their neighbor. Here Dave is singing his ass off while 80% of the crowd pays no attention. Having said all that, the high points of the show were very high. Some of the new stuff really shined, ie. Cornbread and Eh Hee. Tripping Billies and Ants Marching were standard sure fire winners, but closing with Stay didn't thrill me. I'd give the stage set up a perfect 10! The screens used behind the band were awesome! Dave and Co we love you and will always be there to catch every show we can. Just next time, feel your audience and listen to what they're asking for. Make every show that "Live Trax" kinda show. Love you guys, Peace!
