Cover of Rolling Stone

Dave Matthews Band has, yet again, made the cover of Rolling Stone, as expected. The band was photographed while wearing DMB-branded baseball equipment in a shoot at the University of Virginia's baseball stadium a month ago. (The school was originally to be over the mountain, in Staunton, but was changed to UVa by the magazine.) The article, "The Boys of Summer," writer Jenny Eliscu describes where the band is at in their career and describes the process of making Stand Up. This appearance marks the third time that Dave Matthews Band has been featured on the cover of the music magazine, which is much different from the 90s, when a lone Rolling Stone editor steadfastly refused to write about DMB. Since the leak of the Lillywhite Sessions in 2001, though, that's completely changed.
